Sorry, the novak has a 9 volt limit, I read you are running 4 cell. 14.8 v.
The wattsup meter will handle 60 volts, 50 amps continuous, 100 amp burst. The nicest thing about the wattsup meter is it retains the highest amp draw during the run. (That would be the peak amp reading) To get this reading it goes between the battery & esc. After running the truck only unplug the meter from the esc. It will scroll thru all the peak readings. CAUTION. Don't exceed 130 amps. (It could ruin your meter) This one does show up to 80 volts, I could not find info on the other one. The one I have can handle 130A... See, that is where I get confused?! I am never sure how to to take a C rating of a battery. I always thought that if your battery is rated at 100amps continuous, you can have peaks way higher than that, since they do not last longer than a split second... In your case don't exceed 130 amps or you could ruin your meter. Yes for example a 100c/150(b or burst) is 100 constant amps & short bursts up to 150 amps. The problem with burst's is they will build heat in the battery. That can possibly affect the battery in several ways |
