Default How do I dispose a lipo?

So if you saw the thread I wrote earlier I shorted out one of my Gens Ace 2s packs. It was fully charged at the time so i'm not sure how to dispose of it. I can't dischage because the charger won't recognize the battery. What should I do?

If you want to be proper, Best Buy takes old batteries, cell pjones, yadda yadda yadda. Right when you walk in the door they have large boxes to toss stuff into

At least in CA they do

Can you discharge it as a nimh? Or hook it up to a car headlight bulb.
When it's discharged twist the leads together and toss it, they are safe for landfills no heavy metals.

Barely discharges it at all. Just shoot then bury then toss.

whatever you do, don't just throw it away in the trash. Take it to any major recycling center, bestbuy, some home depots, radio shacks, etc etc.
