Default KO/Castle binding issue

I have a Ko Propo EX-1 UR that will not calibrate to my castle mmp esc. The weird thing is, I have the exact same set up in two cars. The radio calibrates with no issue to one car but not the other. Out of curiosity I tried a Traxxas radio/reciever and the problem esc calibrated to that radio with no issue. What would make that particular esc "not like" the KO radio? I am stumped.

This is for my girlfriends cars by the way. I have changed brands and wanted to hook her up with something better than a stock 2.4 system so I handed down my KO. Not a bad hand me down if you ask me. LOL

Does it actually enter calibration mode ?

Is your throttle trim centered and are your throttle and brake EPA's (Travel) set at 100% before trying to calibrate ?

Check the software version that is running in the ESC, you may need to update or rollback

Cheers

Yes, it enters calibration mode. My epa's are set correctly. It accepts forward but stops at that point. I think that esc is older than the other. How do i update it? Castle link?

You sir were correct. As it turns out, that particular esc had the oldest possible version software on it. Updated it and it worked like a charm. Thanks bro!
