Default Lipo battery problem?

I went to charge a 11.1v 2300mah lipo i use for my engine heater and the chager put a warning up saying the the balencer was not connected (it was) and battery voltage is too low, I know you cant run lipo's voltage too low, looks like I have. The question is have I killed this battery or is ther a fix?

May be able to be restored depending on how low you have taken it

Do the following ..........

Change charger mode to nimh
Connect pack with main leads only (no balance plug)
Set charge rate at 1 amp
Charge as a nimh pack and watch the screen
When pack voltage gets to 6.5v or so stop charger

Change to lipo mode
Plug in balance lead
Charge as normal

Cheers

Cheers for that info crusey, I charged it on nimh mode, then switched it over to lipo with balance plug and seems to be charging fine.
Next time I will check the voltage more often, I didnt realise my engine heater would discharge this battery so quickly, only got about two 15min heating out of this pack.
