Default Unkown problem, HELP PLEASE!

Hey guys, I just joined the forum. I am 16 and into most sports and what not, decided to get into remote control cars, good move, not for me. About a year ago I bought a cheap one on eBay as recommended by friends of my dads as good to thrash. I had issues getting mine started with a .3 spark plug, they recommended that I put a more powerful spark plug in there, did the trick. Although it then decided to accelerate and steer itself :/. None of us really have enough knowledge to work out what the issue is. From reading I thought that it may be the steering servo? Any comments and ideas would be awesome! Cheers.

Lets start simple, make sure your batteries are fresh in both the radio and the car.

What brand is it?

If it starts to steer and accelerate by itself...next to battery issue (as mentioned aboved) it can be a transmitter glitch.

It is common if the tx-rx is an AM band radio..
