1.6 amps max. 1.0 to 1.5 Amps ideal. Lower amps for better capacity, higher amps for more initial voltage... and quicker charging obviously.

If this is a rcvr pack, I wouldn't charge at more than 1amp. These small cells can't take that much heat and at the higher rates, you're basically cooking the life out of them. I charge mine at 0.5amps as much as I can and use 1amp when I'm in a bind for time.

No doubt it should be pretty close, it took me 1 hour and still can't solve the problem.

I charge mine at 1.5 Amps and they barely get body temp.

I used to run 1400mah IB packs in my 18th scales and at 1.5amps, they would cook the cell wrapper off the cells. They were 2/3a sized cells like are in a hump pack.

I have an Orion Marathon 1500mah hump pack that gets hot at 1amp, again 2/3a sized cells.

Yea I got a 5 cell flat pack and when I charge it at 1 amp it doesnt finish but when I charge it at .8 amp it gets alittle more than half done. Should I discharge my nimh pack before charging it?
