I was wondering if this could be done and if anyone has ever done it. I would love to make the trigger stiffer than it is out-of-the-box.

Can't comment on the 3S specifically, but I know guys who have changed their DX3R. They opened it up and either changed or shimmed the spring. Don't know where they found springs, maybe try hardware stores and such.

I just did this. I swapped springs from the stock Losi transmitter with the DX3S.

It is a real pain to get the spring back on, I think I need a new technique!

I thought about trying a pen spring but you need more coils or it will deform.
