Just thought it would be a good idea to try and eliminate the countless number of servo threads by creating a servo directory.

This is what I'm going for. Please post the servo name, model and experiences that include application(In what vehicle), how long you have been running it for, what problems if any, and some comments on the performance... I will update the info to this post at least one time a week. And want to try and get this on the sticky list!

Any feedback is welcome! I'm all in for great ideas, or changes to the layouts. I will add some info to get it started. Now lets get posting!

• -BrodieMan:I've been using the S6070 low profile digital servo in my Touring Car (JRXSR) and absolutely love it. Extremely fast, turned down the servo speed a bit actually. Plenty of torque for a TC. Noisy buy I like that, lets me know my car is on The servo wires are very long which will give you a lot of options for Rx mounting. I did install a Spektrum Capacitor on my Rx, didn't have any issues pre-cap though. I did have to dremel my servo mount on my Losi JRXSR to make room for the wires but no big deal.

I used this servo in my ve8 e buggy and It broke a gear very quickly running on a hard surface. No crazy crashes that I haven't done with any other servo, but the main gear (the one that is also has the output splines) broke several teeth off. I don't use this servo for 1/8 steering any longer. It is now the brake servo for the same car. Hitec 7954sh high voltage has taken it's place.

I had also read about Spektrum being a rebadged Savox and that is why I asked Spektrum when I called them. I do not have the name of the rep I talked to but called the number on the Spektrum website. Definitely no insult taken........I am new but have been researching servos for the last several days. Thanks for setting up this thread. Wished it was completed several days ago.

this thread is a great idea. a suggestion i have would be to either include retail pricing and/or links to the servos on amain. that way if someone needs info about servos they can come to this thread and see it all laid out for them rather than having to search through all of them online.

i won't have my servos for a couple weeks and who knows when i will have everything to actually run my SCRT10 cuz i'm building it from scratch, but once i do i will definitely update about it.

The ONLY downfall I have seen with these servos-the MILE long servo leads. Also the labels seem to come off very easily.
