Help with servo failure
#1
I had a Hitec 5645MG servo in my brushless firestorm and it has gone bad. I'm just wanting to know if there was a specific reason why. It started by not always turning to one the right, then over time it got worse and got to where it wouldn't perform at all sometimes. It would also get pretty warm after just a short run. It even started making the motor not want to run (it would cog) and the 2.4 receiver would flash red like the signal was lost. I replaced the servo and the receiver acts fine now, new servo works fine, but motor doesn't seem to have much power now though. Anyone know if the motor issue was caused by the servo, and what went wrong with servo? Was it something I did?
