Xcelorin Futaba Radio Problem

Xcelorin Futaba Radio Problem
We have tried to set up a Futaba FM radio with an Xcelorin sensored brushless system without any success. The same brushless system sets up fine with a Spektrum 2.4 radio, and a KO Proppo FM radio, but when trying to set up a Futaba FM radio the Xcelorin sensored speed control just stays in the setup mode (yellow light) and will not accept the full throttle and full brake input. We called Horizon support and was told to verify the radio throttle settings are at factory default settings (full atv, 0 trim, ect..). After this did not work we tried various settings without success. Another Futaba radio gave us the same results!
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Socko,
Thank you for the quick response. We did try the normal, and also reverse throttle settings without any help. That was the first thing the Horizon Tech suggested and why we are stumped now!
Thanks!

I have the 1/8 Xcelorin ESC and a Futaba 3GR 2.4Ghz.
Can you tell me what will be the difference beetwen HRS and PPM modes ? Do you know if this ESC works fine in the 2 modes ? And do you think that I can use the two throttle positions : 70/30 and 50/50 ? Because with 50/50, I can't calibrate well the Brake "position". I have the red led blinking and fix, but after this, when I try it, I have to force a little on the trigger to see the red led lighting...But with 70/30 everything is ok ... I hope you will understand because my English is poor !!!
Thanks

HRS mode requires digital servos to work prpperly and give your system the high response speed HRS provides. You cxan damage your electronics trying to run HRS mode with non-digital servos. PPM mode will work any servos, analog or digital, but will not be as fast as HRS.
I thank you very much but I'm talking about the changes beetween the 2 modes with my Xcelorin ESC, not the steering servo. I have a digital servo, then it works. My question is about the Xcelorin ESC...
Thanks

You can not Calibrate at other than 100% Throttle and Brake. Saying this the new KO requires 125% for both. Trying to setup as you describe will only lead to problems for you.

We switched to a Spektrum radio because we knew it wold work....in other words, we gave up after trying everything the Techs suggested, and also the nice people on this forum, but in the end time was the main issue.
