Amros: The new ones will be a bit better,
But I doubt you will EVER see any performance improvements, especially if your running a 7950/7945 combo. I have 2-3 each of the 7950,7954,7945, and 7940's and these HV's already are in reality rediculous overkill.
The only potential differences you may notice will in be how quiet they operate, and current draw/runtime assuming your running a nitro class. So if your rx pack is giving you say 40-45 minutes of runtime currently, you will probably notice that will be increased by 4-5 minutes if that matters to you.

Nothing new on the release date guys, still gonna be towards end of July.

I have to say tho, the Savox are very good, especially for the money but the Hitecs are just better quality and finish imo.

Them there are some expensive servo's, mmmhmmmm. Damn they look nice though.
Still needing to upgrade the steering servo's on my LST but I think I am going to take ntrain's advice and stick with some less expensive 7955's or 7950's.

you also need high volt receiver
This means that you will be spending around 300 for servo, receiver, and ext bec

actually on the MMP's you can bump up the voltage to 7.4v-8.4v(like unregulated lipo) on the esc so that it provides 7.4-8.4 to your HV servo and receiver(assuming your RX and servo can take the lipo voltage). That way when you use your high-draw, high voltage servo and motor together the BEC voltage wont drop below the fail-safe or rx cutoff voltage (the many issues people are having with MMP/rx cut-outs).

Just being realistic guys, but it seems the savox servos are a better buy. I would say the specs are a tab bit better on the savox and at $95. Just curious, but what is the premise to buy the hitecs over the savox servos?

A. Savox servos come nowhere near their "rated" performance specs(tested and proven locally with Hitec 6volt sport model servos outperforming Savox's 2 HV premium models). Under load Savox servos transit speed drops fast as well. Where Hitec servos are normally much closer to rated specs in real world applications as they are rated much more conservatively.
B. Savox servos are massive powerhogs drawing 2-3 times the amount of current compared to a Hitec HV counterpart.
C. The Savox warranty is pretty short/limited with a basic 1 year warranty compared to the 3 year no questions asked one provided by Hitec.
I can pick up a Hitec Premium HV 7954 for about 80-85 bucks shipped from TowerHobbies. Find me a Savox servo that will have 400oz of torque with .12 transit time at 7.4volts please, LOL! Not gonna happen.
If your gonna pay in the 80-120 range for a performance servo Hitec should be a first choice.
