I'm not sure I understand the question. The battery starts balancing for a while? Or it is unbalanced for a while and then before it completes the charge it is balanced?

Yes it has unbalanced voltage for a while before it actually charges and balances the battery i am not sure if this is normal or not. Thank,s

Oh, yeah. That should be normal then. Batteries balance when they are charging but when they discharge they tend to unbalance a bit. I don't use any 4s Li-po's but I would imagine they would discharge a bit more unbalanced than my 2's As long as you keep on balance charging them you should be fine. About how far off are the cells from each other voltage-wise?

Sorry I meant how far off are they from each other after they have been discharged As long as they are ending up nicely balanced like that at the end of a charge though they should be fine! Just make sure not to over-discharge them!

If you are seeing a message while charging that says 'unbalanced volt xx mv" this is normal charger provided max voltage diff between the high and low cell. It doesn't mean anything is wrong, its just info the charger provides.
