Default Charging at the field

What do you guys do at fields with no AC?

Generators? Batteries?

It is a bit of a drive for me to get to the track and I don't want to need a dozen LiPos charged every time - I'd rather charge there.

At the same time, I don't always have room in the car for big gennys if the family is coming.

How long will a Pb battery last charging 5000mAh 4s batts? Other ideas?

Well, some guys will use their car batteries which do last a bit, just make sure your charger has a cut-off so it doesn't over discharge the car battery (pretty much all chargers with the cables to charge from a car battery will have this option), others will use power supplies, which you can charge and then use to charge your batteries at the track but these can be a bit expensive. What I really suggest doing is just charge your batteries the day before or the day of and then just take them to the track charged. It works for me

I always run 4 chargers all race day long off of my vehicle battery and have never ended up with a dead battery. Maybe it's the power of an Interstate
