I just got a gt3b for my two e-maxx trucks. Fly Sky & hobbypartz both say it has a 10 model memory so I thought cool and I ordered one off hobbypartz and 2 extra RX's. I binded both RX's to the TX that was easy, once I found a manual(The manual / VRC disk was not in the box).
Here is my Issue when I switch it from model 0 to model 1 to put my settings in for my 2nd truck it changes the setting for truck one to truck 2's settings what gives? All I want is for the two trucks to have different CH.1 trims and endpoints but all ten models(0-9) change to the same thing. Anyone else have this system.

well i got mine in 2 days ago and binded my revo and jato. when i binded the 2nd car i set the model number to 1 and turned off the tx. then binded it. i plugged all my settings in and each time i had the settings where i wanted it i just press down on the enter button. i noticed if i did not do this it would not save my settings. anyways it worked for me. maybe u got a messed up one? I didn't get a manual either. but with youtube u can find anything

I pushed down the enter button every time and it saves the new settings, but when i go to my other models settings it changes them to the same thing.
I think I might be on to something after I set truck 2 and go back to truck1 I think it might just be showing truck 2s setting because when I go to change it back to where I left it 80% and it says 100%(truck 2s setting) It will jump to 79% in one click where it should have been -1% for the one click I spun the "Enter" wheel thing . I hope.......
I will report back I'm going to go run my trucks and play with the TX to see if my suspicions are correct.

Ahhhh Haaaaaa I got it, after you change your model you have to turn the TX off then back on and then it will bring the right settings up.

Thank you everyone for all your help. I will let you know how it runs I could not run today because there is to much soft snow (5"-7") on the lawn, to many cars in the street and its really cold

When I got mine I loved the radio, but the manual was junk. Procedures were hard to understand, and if you did exactly what they said, they didn't work, period.
So I sat back and started fiddling with the buttons and dials, and eventually found out how to reverse the servo travel. I wrote up the procedure and posted it in this forum. See it at:
http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...t3b-radio.html
The procedure is actually pretty straightforward, and if you follow it, it works fine.
I haven't tried any of the other procedures outlined. Don't know if they are as poorly written as the servo-reversing procedure was. If they are, I feel sory for people trying to use them.
I have a hunch that most procedures follow the same basic lines as the one I detailed above. Try it, you may like it.
I get the feeling that the GT3B is a good radio with lots of nice,, easy-to-use, fairly intuitive features. But without a manual explain how to use them, the features are useless, and this radio will get a bad rap it doesn't deserve. the manual deserves the bad rap, not the radio.

I got my FS-GT3B with extra receiver today.
i binded one rx to memory 0 and the other to memory 1
install rx 0 to my SCX and set all the settings.
install rx1 to my other SCX and set all the settings
everything works fine until i power both truck and set my Transmitter on memory 3
i could control both my truck at the same time without the setting i made on their respective memory location, i change my memory to 0 , still i can control both truck
is it normal for the Transmitter to control 2 Receiver at the same time on a different memory?

Yes.
The memories save the steering and throttle trim, end points etc. for each model. The tx gives off the signal the same otherwise. The DX3R will keep he bound rxs and model memories separate, but this tx will not.
Then it's just as if you 2 am/fm cars on the same freq, one tx will control them both.
