I get my mamba max pro with motor today. A lot of people suggest to get a BEC and not use on board BEC. I probably will end up getting a CC BEC with that field link card. I saw a picture, where that card is connected to a usb. Can I use that method to program my CC BEC, without buying the other field link programmer?
Thanks

You will only need an external bec if you are using a servo that draws a lot of current, you may even get by with just a cap
The Field Link card will allow you to program the ccbec and the ESC with the Castle Link software
