I searched and couldn't find a thing in Elec Offroad. You mention it, I look at the first page and bam...

Well, I'm really digging up the dead on this one. I just got a VST 10.5 and I'm wondering how much end play is typical. I noted, as I was attaching a pinion, the motor shaft had 3-4mm of play. That is, it was able to move that much away from the can. The magnets pull everything back in line, of course, but I'm wondering what's normal. Thanks!

We have some end play in our motors so as they spin they will center themselves. Instead of all washers. There is actually a small spring used to help center the rotor.
