Default Glitch

Alright guys I gotta figure this out. Here is the set up.. Losi 8ight-E Mamba Monster ESC, CC 2650kv, HiTec 7955tg servo, Spektrum Dx3s, Spektrum SR3300T receiver. The thing is glitching.. it seems to shut itself off for like 2secs and them come strait back on.. it happends on and off at random times. Its driving me NUTS! Someone told me I may need a Power capacitor?? Not to sure about this? Could this be correct? If so could someone post a link to a good one please. Ive check/double checked all the wiring and the batterys are new 4s 5000 30c lipos. I see no problem. The mmm and motor are brand new. Thanks

This may be a silly question, but is the reciever bound to the radio?

The amp draw from that high torque servo can pull voltage down below what your Spectrum will tolerate and its shuts down and power back up which takes a few sec. A glitch buster cap will level the voltage peaks and dips out and prevent this from happening. Some are listed in reply #3 here -

never happened to me before with the 7955tg and sr3300t(though it's for a nitro setup and current is not limited by an ESC)... what's the BEC (Volts and Amp) out of the MMM? the 7955tg draws a lot of current...

you can also set your telemetry to show your rx batt (MMM BEC out) to see if it goes low...the 3300t will work from 3.2 to 9.6V.... i see mine goes down to 3.5v and that's the time to charge my rx batt... don't know if it's the same with esc... wanted to try it but sold my dx3s already....
