Default Hitec HS-7954SH problems!!

Used for one race and I put it in a new truggy and it's not getting the speed in the throttle channel. Works fine in steering. Tried 2 different receivers and the same issues. Charged batteries and new ones in the radio for giggles. Getting pissed. For some reason it keeps losing power to the transponder and cutting in and out all together. What gives?

Have you tried using a capacitor? This may be an amp draw related issue and causing a voltage dip that is browning out the transponder. Cap will even out the spikes and may prevent the low voltage dip.
