You should have added one in your order! Unless I just missed that item
Not yet, but getting close! Testing this last week was excellent. Final stages now

I'll be adding a pit mat to my next order , the old t-shirt I've been using just isn't cutting it....lol
I saw an ad in RCDriver for the Vtrax10 esc. The measurments at the bottom of the page show the 10R as the bigger ( only taller) of the two. Is that correct? I would have thought it was the smaller one because some race bread buggies are tight for space.

Vtrax10R next to Vtrax10

As you can see, Mini-dub has already post the measurements for the vtrax10.
I measured a tekin rs pro, because it is what most people have and the measurement are as follows. In the same order of the pix:
17.5mm
32.4mm
25.0mm
As you can see, the only real difference is the length.
I am looking forward to receiveing a viper e.s.c. This speed controller is more adjustable then the tekin.

I saw that post. I was just saying I thought the R was the smaller one.
I took a few of my motors to the local indoor track and let people run them in their buggies.
Huge success! They loved them. Lots of positive comments ranging from the bottom end punch, the sensor plug being flush with the can and the great solder slots.

Because of the dual power boards the Vtrax10R has 1/2 the internal resistance of the Vtrax10, making it good for classes where you need maximum rip, like stock tc.

The 10R is taller because it has dual power boards, it's our high current esc with no motor limit on 2s, and no fan

Second qual, DNS, Because Some moron Dose not listen to People yelling back straight. (my car was upside down smack dab in the middle of the back straight.)
He hit me WOT-Ripping my wing off, and Damaging my Brand new Viper 13.5.
i was able to get back in for the B-main STarted on the pole, Dominated the b main. And started 9th in the A-main, Worked my Way to the Lead and my body was ripped off and fell back to 3rd, Got back on the track it happened again a few laps later Making me finish 7th do to the pit guy tossed my car upside down on the track (no big deal Will get em next time! '
The Viper motor Was the fastest motor down the straight.. People Asked me if i was running an 8.5 (LOL its a 13.5 motor Class)
In My b4 i Settled into 30/75 Gearing
Tekin Rs- 45 Boost -No turbo-Starting rpm 54xx-End rpm 20014-
Timing on can was stock.
Everyone who looked at the motors today Said they look good and the packaging was Awesome!

I ran my 13.5 for the first time this weekend. There was a one day race at Adam's Creek Raceway in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The track is a small fun indoor offroad and the rules were set to make all the classes 13.5. I ran 4wd buggy. I had great power all day and the motor ran cool. I qualified 3rd and screwed up on lap one and had to come from the back. After a great battle with 2nd place I was able to get by and finished 2nd. I had never ran below an 8.5 in a wheeler and was very impressed how fast the motor was. I look foward to running my other motors and getting the esc's in my cars.
Also, thank you for the door prizes that were sent.
