You should have added one in your order! Unless I just missed that item

I'll be adding a pit mat to my next order , the old t-shirt I've been using just isn't cutting it....lol

I saw an ad in RCDriver for the Vtrax10 esc. The measurments at the bottom of the page show the 10R as the bigger ( only taller) of the two. Is that correct? I would have thought it was the smaller one because some race bread buggies are tight for space.

[QUOTE=mini-dub;8276045]

Vtrax10R next to Vtrax10

As you can see, Mini-dub has already post the measurements for the vtrax10.
I measured a tekin rs pro, because it is what most people have and the measurement are as follows. In the same order of the pix:
17.5mm
32.4mm
25.0mm

As you can see, the only real difference is the length.
I am looking forward to receiveing a viper e.s.c. This speed controller is more adjustable then the tekin.

I saw that post. I was just saying I thought the R was the smaller one.

I took a few of my motors to the local indoor track and let people run them in their buggies.

Huge success! They loved them. Lots of positive comments ranging from the bottom end punch, the sensor plug being flush with the can and the great solder slots.

The 10R is taller because it has dual power boards, it's our high current esc with no motor limit on 2s, and no fan

Because of the dual power boards the Vtrax10R has 1/2 the internal resistance of the Vtrax10, making it good for classes where you need maximum rip, like stock tc.

I am very pleased with my Viper VST motor. Some early test and tune runs in the Ofna Hyper 10TT have proved to be very fun. The truck has seemingly endless power and the motor has stayed very cool.

I ran my 13.5 for the first time this weekend. There was a one day race at Adam's Creek Raceway in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The track is a small fun indoor offroad and the rules were set to make all the classes 13.5. I ran 4wd buggy. I had great power all day and the motor ran cool. I qualified 3rd and screwed up on lap one and had to come from the back. After a great battle with 2nd place I was able to get by and finished 2nd. I had never ran below an 8.5 in a wheeler and was very impressed how fast the motor was. I look foward to running my other motors and getting the esc's in my cars.

Also, thank you for the door prizes that were sent.
