Glad you're having success with the system, too! What size of track are you running on and what is your gearing? Always good to know more setups that are running well

Really that's not my experience with my 17.5 motor. In TC "blinky" mode, I'm getting killed.

Are you pushing your limits with your temps as I run constant 160*f with a heatsink and 1 fan??? Gear it til it cant take anymore.. I mean it has a saftey cutoff for temps on the motor and esc so u have nothing to be scared about......

Other than that are you running timing on the endbell as mine loves 45* and runs cooler there than at 15* and at 30* it runs a little cooler than at 45*.

Sorry mate thats all I can come up with besides your car setup.. but you live on the forum and been around for a long time so please dont take offence as I am NOT talkin down to you and if u feel I am I really do apologize

no problem, I think one of the issues is we race on a temporary parking lot track, so track time for testing is pretty much done during your actual heats and mains, that and he likes to sleep in and not show up till 10:30

sorry buddy just teasing.

My Motor started to smoke 3 days ago. Motor temp and ESC temp was far over 220 F , was Temp cut off was set as standard (220 F),
Now Esc wont start.
Anyway , i have get nice support from Viper so no problem there.
Sending my ESC in and hope for the best.

you might wanna post what you are running it in, gearing, esc profile, and if there is any timing added to the motor and esc, that way if there is something that may need to be changed you can save yourself having to send in another esc or motor

Running a Mi4cx with 6.5r SpeedP at the time fdr was 5.96 Started with profil 6 . BUT im unsure if i may have change to profil 7 (by misstake). If so could this have caused the esc and motor to overheaten? isnt the esc supposed to cut of when reaching 220F ?

that could very well have done it, profile 7 is spec onroad boosted, lotta boost for a 6.5, i think that could have been the culprit
