Default DX3R ISSUE

DX3R problem it seems when i get 10 meters away it goes out of range. receiver led light goes off. when i get close to 5 meters it it functions normally again. What went wrong with this transmitter? what it takes to get it fix? this radio is over a year old and out of warranty. Does any one experience this kind of problem? i'm so disappointed

It could be the receiver. Try a different receiver first. It might be something as simple as a bad antenna on either the transmitter or receiver.

+1 and which receiver are you using? I had 3 of the ones that come with the 3R, sr3100, take a crap and have the same on/off bind issue.....sucks at $100 a piece

Its the 3100. If you are going to buy DSM2 receivers, buy the 3520.

I had the same problem with my FS GT-3. The outer shielding of the coaxial antenna was disconnected from the circuit board and it wouldn't solder back on so I ordered a new receiver for $7 and everything works fine now

Possibly worth a reminder to not bend or kink the exposed end of a 3100 antenna. For example don’t bend it over the end of the tube and stick a cap over it.
