Default Help with Hi Voltage Receivers

I need help, because I was told by a friend that all receivers can work with a LIPO Battery conected without a Voltage Regulator, what I have to ensure is that the servos I connect to the receiver are High Voltage servos.

If any one has a proper answer to this questions please your feedback will be much appreciated. At this moment I am running a Futaba 3PKs with a HRS 75Mhz receiver.

Bringing this thread back from the vault...

Just curious if anybody else has had success running a R603FS at 7.4v with multiple high voltage servos?

I have been running this basic setup (KO 30101 steering and Savox 1268TG mech brakes both at 7.4v) for over two months now without any issues. I do use a CC BEC to make sure the Lipo voltage is regulated to 7.4v, but thus far the receiver seems to be handling the increased voltage.
