Default Personal Lap timer.

I'm in the market for a personal lap timer but cannot find many, I found one at mushroom and nothing else. Can people point out others?

Thanks,
Michael.

Hey Michael,

I just ordered a Grenit one. It is wireless and actually reads out your times through earphones to you, as your car passes by the receptor next to the track. I have been lucky enough to use one, and found it fantastic, so i bought one for myself.

You can find them at www.grenit.com... they are quite pricey, but it's well worth it.

Hope this helps.
Ryan.

Thanks Ryan, next time I'm at TFTR and see you, I'll come over and say "Hi" and have a look at it.

Is there any others?

Spektrum makes one, but of course, you gotta be using a spektrum compatible radio/rx.

wow!!! they are proud of their product. I have the orion one. I am now glad I kept it. it does nto speak lap times, but you can set a target time and it will let you know if you are faster then the target time. and it does record you laps for you to review. and works off of IR as well. I know they are no longer available, but do some looking, every so often, they show up on the for sale forum

Alot of higher end radio come with a good timer now. I know that the 3PK and 4PK count up to 100 laps, just push one button to start and another to stop/start each lap. I've got mine set to the grip button so its effortless just press every lap down the straight.
