Strange tech comment on Futaba Servo
#1
So I am researching new brushless servos, as I need to buy one, and decided to check out the Futabas BLS452 and BLS351. On the "notes from the tech department" web page regarding the BLS452, it says:
"COMMENTS: NiCd use only"

Anybody have any information on this? Has the tech department gone looney, or am I missing something?

My guess is that they just don't want you to run a LiPo Rx pack or more than 6V with them.

Yeah, I can find places where Futaba still says use NiCds for transmitter batts, like NiMhs never happened. How lame is that, I don't understand why they haven't figured out how dumb that makes them look..... But I guess in ther mind, they're the only ones right and all the rest of us not using NiCds are wrong.
