Default charging question

I have a dynamite prophet charger 4 to 8 cell and has a switch to pick 1 2 4 amp and my batteries traxxas power-cell series 1, i have the charge on two amp when charging a battery i am wondering if I can put it the charger on 4 am and charge two series 1 power-cells hooked in parallel at the same time thanks

Nimh cells should not be charged in parallel

^^^ +1 !!!

Never charge NiMh cells in parallel. You'll have a thermal run away due to the cells not being matched and charging and discharging among the pac until one either shorts or vents and the pac explodes.

Do not charge NiXX in parallel!

I think you can charge ONE pack at a time on the 4 amp setting to speed things up a little.

If the Traxxas Series 1 packs are the small 2/3 sized cells (for the 1/16th cars), they shouldnt be charged at more than 1c or 1.2 amps
