Transponder problem
#1
Is there a way to test an AMB transponder? I raced this weekend (not very well
)and was doing 38-43 sec. laps. When the results were posted for the mains it showed a lap at 128sec, another at 108 an a couple in the 90's. The rest seemed right. I'm not a good driver but jeez! Any ideas?

Watch the light on your transponder while the car is on the ground. Turn the wheels right, then left. If the transponder lite goes dim while the servo is active under load it will cause the low hits that bentgear is referring to.
This means that the servo is taking all or most of the power that the speedo is supplying to the receiver. Usually adding a capacitor to either the speedo or receiver will fix this problem.
