Cool as, lucky i brought a justock, and a Xtreme stock.

Found where i read it:

lxrcmodel.com/details.asp?prodid=2466 (add your own WWW, as i can not post links yet)

"-Factory pre-installed supercharged STOCK competition firmware with Boost Timing and Turbo Timing function."
and
"-Compatible with all firmwares of XERUN-120-SD and XERUN 60A-SD ESC"

I couldent find any info on the justock on the HW webstie, so i assumed this to be correct

Where did you buy this from?

TeamWTF 10-07-2010 07:50 PM

Did not expect boost software already installed. Changed to 518 now... just to get some more speed.

Does anyone have any general suggestions for 10.5 in a 12th with timing? First meeting with it tomorrow night.

Can the Justock ESC handle Li-Fe batteries? If so what cutoff do you set on them please?

Thanks

yes they can run lifep04 packs and cut off at 3.0v

Hi guys

can some of you who own a 1s give me some feedback on the performance .i know what it can do but its is very good to hear from others .

TeamWTF 10-12-2010 04:34 PM

Had a quick run with my 1s and like it (First time driving 12th..)

Used a 10.5 with max boost and a little turbo, 3000 start. I think the punch needs to come down to cater for the lack of volts and RPM, i think it was at #3 or #4, but will try 2 next time to give it more punch.

Ran a 60mm rollout. Was not super fast... but not slow either. Will try a higher rollout next time...

Overall it ws nice to drive though. It is rather large... though it fits and is still underweight so :p

Was a tight indoor carpet circuit.

Got my Xtreme Stock and the LCD programmer yesterday. Haven't used it yet, but I have a couple questions.

First of all, on the LCD programmer, it says you have to use 4.5-6.0V to power the unit. Can I simply plug my battery into the speed control and let the BEC circuit of the ESC provide power to the LCD programmer or is a seperate power supply required?

Secondly, the boost timing was set to # 7 (22.5 degrees according the the sheet that came with the ESC). With this much timing added to the motor, it spun at WAY to high of an RPM (unsafe RPM). I reset it to zero degrees and it seems to be more along the lines of what I was expecting. My question is if using the ESC on a motor that has built in timing like a Novak or Epic based motor, should I leave this setting at zero and just use the turbo timing to control any additional timing that I would like to try or should I retard the physical timing on the motor and incorporate boost timing along with turbo?

Thanks
CSR

Hello, how are you?

Yes, you can use the BEC from the ESC to power the programming card.

On the other question, I'll let someone with more knowledge answer.

Rafael

yes works with esc provided power

you have to be very careful running the electronic timing boost system in the esc when running a mechanical adjustment timing system on the motor .

example you dont see mechanical timing on a full scale car with electronic management system everything is adjusted by the management computer not the distributor right .

same thing with the esc it is a management computer .so think about timing on the mechanical side adjustment and then more timing from the esc what happens ? nothing is synchronised .Creates heat and information is mixed .

I will find out what they set the fixed timing motors at and ill let you know as of now i dont really know . leave your mechanical timing at zero for now and adjust from the esc and i will get you the info you need for the motor timing

regards Angelo
