Well I was told by 3 people that its the exact same unit. Im actually usinga speed passion LCD programming card with my hobbywing ESC so that proves they must be the same thing if it works:p

I think the difference is: XERUN-60A ESC has a little bigger resistance than XERUN-120A ESC. That means the power loss at the XERUN-60A ESC is also a little larger. But the power loss at the ESC is really very very small, so who cares?

So then if an Xerun-60A can handle down to a 5.5T , surely it can work with a 17.5/13.5/10.5 with supercharger?. As there is only a 0.0003 ohm difference in resistance between the 60A and 120A, which will never be seen, then the Xerun-60A should be good for spec racing?

Xerun-60A ESC is good for stock racing, or somebody will say it is even better, but that is only because of its cheaper price than XERUN-120A.

If you racing stock classes the 60A is all you need.
Best value for money !!!!

To Hobbywing ,

Below are some Comment on 1.61 Beta, please conside those on final version of software :
1. It would be better to see the firmware version of ESC while the LCD card communicate with ESC.
2. For profit1/2/3, if possible it would like to see profile 1 for stock, 2 for mod..etc.
It means it will upload the correspounded firmware to ESC while you change the profile.
So, no need to bring a computer for RC car playing....
3. In this Beta version, if my ESC loaded as stock mode.
What are recommended setting for use a mod motor like 5.5T.
It is becasue i may attemp stock & mod class within the same day but no computer for reload firmware to ESC.

Is SC RPM the same as start or end rpm?

IF while your ESC is connected to the PC you label 1,2,3 to what ever name you want and then load to ESC... Anytime after that that you connect your LCD to just the ESC you will see those 3 custom names you chose.

for instance my:
Buggy ESC has 1-Buggy 2-Buggy slick track 3 F'ing crazy
SC10 ESC has 1-SC10 2-SC10 slick track 3-F'ing crazy

When ever the LCD connects it shows these profile names. Same when i connect to the PC now. As the PC and the LCD read the profile from the ESC unless you upload otherwise from the PC..

Does that make sence?

HOBBYWING: one thing that needs correction is the PDF file. The terminology used does not match the last 5 settings on the ESC LCD read out... You have to remember what setting your own because the names of the settings are not identical on the PDF as they are on the software and LCD
