Any word on the 1cell ESC yet??

1/12 season starts this weekend here!!

I need to ask again since I didn't get straight answers last time.

I have a Xerun 120A V2.0 and I still don't see 528MOD that everyone keeps talking about. I know people said Xeruns are supposed to support it but I don't see it on mine.

I just downloaded the lastest software from the Hobbywing website and this is what it shows when connected to my ESC. I even tried the software Team Cobra Racing sent me and it still doesn't show 528mod. I have been running 518stock with my 5.5T motor and I don't want to kill it

What is the difference between 518Stock and 528Mod. To me they seem to have the same options and setting values.

Anyone able to help me understand the differences? COBRA?

For what I understand, and have tested:
The value's of the setting's aren't the same.
The Mod version is much "smoother" and nicer for your motor" then the "hard" and "powerfull" stock version.
When driving mod-profile with a 13,5T (made a download mistake ) I had everything at "full" and "hot"... After 8 min motor was 70 degC.
When driving the same motor, same ratio, same settings in the speedo BUT stock-profile. The motor was 100degC after 1 minute and got awesomly fast :D

I don't know the exact value differences.

Hi my xerun 60a arrived today! I have a 13.5t fusion exceed motor (3500kv) with no mechanical timing, an was wondering what would be a good starting point on the settings.

Thanks in advance

sorry is this question has been answered already but I have a HobbyWing 60a ESC with 8.5 turn@4000kv motor. I'm wondering if anything is available for download? Can my ESC have the "boost" setting? Other than that I love the motor and esc. it was cheap EZ to use and it's pretty fast. The only bummer is it wont run a brushed motor, our spec class runs a reedy radon 17 turn motor..

8.5T is I think right on the limit for what a 60A will run with turbo, in theory the turbo ware was deigned for stock racing, so 10.5/13.5/17.5/21.5, using it outside those design limitations will likely mean you won't get the best out of it, and perhaps will push it past it's limits.

Just got my Xerun 60a today and have just up-dated it with the latest software, can't wait for Sunday at Ipswich to try it out.
Thanks Cherry for a great couple of videos that helped a techno-idiot like me get it sorted out without any hassle at all.
With regards to posts #887 and #891 does anyone know where there is a data sheet with the latest headings in the correct order for the various settings available on V1.06 100512 ?

darrenoakley 08-13-2010 08:28 AM

I have wired my xerun up to my 12th scale with 3.7 1s lipo and reciver pack and it work fine when testing. Just wondered if anyone had any setting for 1s 13.5 60amp

Is it a complete different speedo or just software for 12th 1s?
