I'm very impressed with the V3 software! I'm looking forward to hitting the track.

What motor are you using with your V3?

Any suggestions on a start point for gearing for 10.5 blinky? I'm thinking 6.2ish (from when we didn't have the beauty of turbo!).

I understand to get a perfect idea you need to know more about the track etc but I'm just after a base figure.

Thanks

Next up, try out the following;
FDR; 7.1
DDRS; 9
Initial brake; Drag
Neutral range; 6%
Boost; 40
Turbo open time; 24
Turbo; 24
Turbo delay; 0.2s
Boost Start; 6,000 rpm
Boost ACC; 400 rpm/deg

these settings recomended by tryhard work great on a track with a 200 feet straiightway

also wanted to mention that thanks again hobbywing for the support.
my wife was able to get 3rd place overall in a winter series running a hobbywing esc.
here is a pic

Cold as Ice, Good luck. I have tried everything from the retailer I purchased from (30 day warranty) to Calandra Racing (US distributor, wont return emails) to hobbywing in HK(shipping round trip is over $60) This is all for a unit that they tell me is still under warranty. So as much as I love my Hobbywing speedos(I have 4), I have given up on getting a warranty or service for them. I hope you have better luck.

Well i have sent CRC multiple emails as well in the past and never got a reply about another one, just didnt know if there was somewhere else. But in that case, as much as hate to do it, I will be switching to another ESC brand, maybe one that can take the motor that its rated to handle. Fairly disappointed.

please dont get me wrong I love the performance and price of the Hobbywing product I have just come to the conclusion that they have very poor support. They are a throw away product in my mind. I would still buy another one but I will not spend the $230 price tag for the V3. As long as the 120a stays at the price it is now It is hard to beat.

I dont disagree there, but im not going to continue to run it since this is the second one, and i dont want to continue to be left sitting at the bench without a speedo.
