Also make sure that you reset your throttle end points (set full throttle, and brake)

Ok, first as mentioned, switch to the 930STOCK software, that will give you all the tuning options. What motor are you running?

Next up, try out the following;
FDR; 7.1
DDRS; 9
Initial brake; Drag
Neutral range; 6%
Boost; 40
Turbo open time; 24
Turbo; 24
Turbo delay; 0.2s
Boost Start; 6,000 rpm
Boost ACC; 400 rpm/deg

Try that out, and I guarantee you'll have top end back. Make sure to temp your motor after the first few minutes though, to make sure you don't run into problems.

thank you so much, tested this out and man this car is so fast. now i gotta learn to control the speed through the turns, its freaken awesome. what is a good temp for the esc and motor? i was getting 125 with a fan on after 10 min and the motor was running 165-175 after 10 min. using a 7.25 fdr do i go up or down on the fdr?
again thanks so much.

they responded once to me but told me since I'm in Canada they would have to email me shipping costs....4 days and 2 emails from me and still no response.

cobra: you need to fix this as crc has hardly any motors and not the one I want and your main rep doesn't respond to emails....i just want to buy your product...it should not be this difficult...im worried now if i di finally get your product but have a problem..
.why not sell through a more reputable place like amain?

Hobbypartz doesn't have the V3....and cobra basically is relegating them to 3rd class type distribution with little support and only a 90 day warranty....for $220 just for the esc I expect top level support and also top level warranty (not sure I will get top level warranty from hobbywing from the way it sounds but I know hobbypartz sucks on support already....).
Would like to think I could expect Tekin or Castle type support and warranty help if I need it with the V3 but I don't expect it...I'm going into it with low expectations from service support and high expectations from functionality

Quite simple don't buy one.

Not everything is given on a silver tray.

When will start the global sales of V3?

I'm assuming that means °F, right? If so, that sounds fine for 10minutes run time. If you are struggling a little, try going to one smaller pinion, that will help to drop temps.
Also, to smooth it out a little, try using the boost start rpm high (maybe 8000), and/or try a longer Boost ACC value (say 500 rpm/°).

Seems that the ver3 you can only change the pre set profiles from the lcd box the instruction manual says nothing about setting them from the button

In Europe they are already available in shops.

Gillblade 04-14-2012 07:59 AM

can u run a Hobbywing 6.5 with mod firmware in a Hobbywing Extremestock without frying it!!! Thinking of doing so until my 120a gets here. As the HW Extremestock is rated similar to a 60a Xerun.

Maybe turn down the boost to a minimum?

Bappe 04-14-2012 01:39 PM

or change to a older non boosted software
