Guys

I just received my Xtreme Stock ESC + 8.5t sensored motor from Hobbywing. I will be racing 8.5t stock class.

So, can you give me tips about how to find, install and use STOCK software (i think 508 version is the one that let one led blinking showing no timing no turbo are being used.

ps : - On another hand, i need tips for gearing. Usually people looks for 6.5 FDR on 8.5t stock, but i know this torquey 4.000kv motors can be geared stronger, maybe a 5.8-6.2 FDR is a good option to start ?

thanks !!

The LRP has a lot off timing on the motor...not good for dynamic esc`s

Posted this in the ezrun thread, but no reply.
Know this is not Xerun related but will give it a try none the less...

I got a few Ezrun 35A V2 13T systems, and love them!
But after trying them with advanced LCD card like used with Xerun, i found one was listed as V2.1 or something. It also had different software.
What is the difference between V2 and V2.1?

Is there any updates on software about to come?

I've put the 4 dot insert in, that brings the timing down by -10 deg. But still comes of hot.

DDRS =level 9
Boost timing =35 deg
Turbo open=12deg/ 0.1 sec
Turbo timing=15 deg
Boost start=6000 rpm
Turbo open delay=0.5 sec
Boost timing acc=350 rpm

Any help? Thanx rBakker. Here is my setting for the LRP x12 17.5.

Thanks

2 bar boost what FDR do you run, what type of car is it in and what sort of track is it used on. From ur settings id put the boost timing acc up to 500rpm, turn ddrs down to 7 and lower boost start by 1000rpm, thats just what id do but other may be more knowledgeable

I run on asphalt track, 1:10 fwd schumi mi3.5, fdr 5.0. The track has two 20 m straights and tight in field.

Thanx

Our driver managed to lap the entire field in the A final and the second place was surprise surprise another XERUN 1s Driver, so a first for Team UK and a Second for HW equipment.
A 1-2 for our equipment and congratulations to our Driver, we hope for great things in the upcoming 1/12th Summer Nationals here in the UK.

That was the raw report back from a Pro Driver, his findings were that 2000 ran COOLER than 3000, sorry guys but can only pass on the information as he finds it, What would you have us do LIE ???

Never really anything constructive is there Irgo old buddy, how about you post some of your settings here so we can see how the EXPERT does it eh?

Just back from TITC, happy time with many friends and hobbywing drivers , and ANgelo, you are a nice guy.

Finally we took TQ, A1, A4,A5 in open brushless class which is the battle of ESC factories. For me, A4 is the best work I can do, and I'm very satisfied with the new FW 110211 for this race. Here I would like to share the final settings of my Xerun 120A V2.1.

Motor. Handout SP 11.5 v3 about 5 degree in the endbell.
FDR 6.9
Ddrs 9
Boost 40
Turbo 23
Turbo slope 18/0.1
Turbo delay 0.2
Boost start 4000rpm
Boost punch 300

After 5min race, motor temp lower than 80c.(35c air temp)

Nice!
