Help with EZRun 25a Combo
#1
Hi all,
I picked up an EzRun 25a combo on a Black Friday sale and was pretty psyched because I got a sweet deal (or so I thought)
Anyway, it was delivered yesterday and I didn't have a chance to start messing with it until today.
The problem is that I cannot get the motor to spin. I'm following the instructions exactly as they say as far as setup, but I'm having no luck.
The instructions say that I am supposed to hear "beeps" during the setup proces, but I don't hear those beeps. The light on the esc flashes like its doing someting, but no audible beeps are there.
After I finish attempting the setup and I pull the trigger, the lights on the esc flash as they are supposed to, but no power goes to the motor.
The troubleshooting guide for the BL system says that if the esc turns on but the motor doesn't work and no sound is emitted, then the battery connection is bad??? The connection appears to be good as it turns the servo w/o any problem.
This is my first BL system ever, so I am hoping that I am just doing something wrong. Anyone have any ideas of what I could try? Or has anyone ever had the same thing happen and have a fix for it?
Thanks in advance
Steve

The audible tones actually come from the motor, so I would guess the motor connections are at fault or the motor is bad from the factory. Of course the ESC will power the servo first if battery power is low, and may even act normally except for feeding the motor its power. Make sure your battery is good and then you can try another motor if you can find someone with one to help you.
