Default Is this a good steering servo?

I just got a JR 9100T, I am going to use this in my Mugen. Would this be a good steering servo?

It's designed for steering since it has 300oz of torque.

I thought in racing you wanted more speed than you did torque.

Overkill for torque, but thats totally my opinion.

Hope your radio has epas!

Well some people don't even like too fast servos. Maybe get the S version later on if you feel it's too slow. (or ace ds1015)

The speed of a servo is of no importance if it doesn't even have the torque to move the wheels. You can have a 0.06 speed servo, but it won't move that fast if you're running it in a truggy.

Good, you will need them with 300inoz torque.

I put a 133inoz Hitec MG645 on my 1st Tmaxx and was blown away that I could see the engine move when I turned the wheels lock to lock. Servo was strong enough to flex chassis plate cause stock radio couldn't adj epas.

9100t would be great for truggy... 9100s is awesome for buggy!

I've heard of pro's staying away from speed servos for steering as they tend to start glitching after a while. I ran mine all season with no issues though, it started glitching, but found out my dx3r was bad... The servo outlasted the radio!
