I had a TrueRC battery and it was crap. At the couple of local tracks around here there are more people running zippies than anything. They are supposed to be really good for the money.

I have had lipos from several companies including some that cost me over $120 for 2s. I now have a few of them left but I am slowly selling them off because I have Zippy Lipos and love them. There really is nothing else out there that is close in performance for your dollar.

Look thru their packs carefully and you will find out what will fit your truck.

I personally tested some Zippy batteries, they were junk. The C rating is not a continuous discharge rating. I discharged a few of their packs at their C rating with a continuous discharge and every pack swelled. Make sure your batteries are not swelling on discharge.

Your better off going with a name brand whose C rating is rated for continuous discharge rate, not a burst rate like almost all of these cheap LiPos. The quote stands with batteries, "you get what you pay for".

Thats funny, lots of guys using them would tell you otherwise. Maybe you should send them back for replacements, I bet you still save money. Data logging equipment has consistently shown them as underrated. You get what you pay for is a joke. Might I ask what brand you recommend?

I do.....have you actually read thier replacement/warranty terms??? Good luck getting anything from them AND you'll pay out the a$$ in shipping or wait forever.

Now I have nothing more to say.

Don't you love those 20-25 posters who suddenly KNOW EVERYTHING?

Personally I run Polyquest Lipos best brand by far and probably one of the only non chinese cells out there.

rclipos.com has them.

I buy only Orion and Peak. Yes they are more expensive but well worth the money. Just retired my first Orion that was three years old. Now using it for practice. The battery still works fine but is a 20C, my newer ones are higher C ratings.

I have tried three other brands and regretted getting each one.
