can a hitec single conversion rx work with a m11 or m8 module? and do i need to put a single conversion crystal on my trAnsmiter? .. cause my spektrum broke,,, while i will have it fix im trying to use my m8 airtronics trNsmitter and i accidentally bought the hitec SC rx now if it works?.. thanx....

They should work as long as it is not 75Mhz FM. If its 75Hhz FM, Hitec and Airtronics use diff phase shift signals. Hitec is neg shift and Air is positive shift, but again, this is only for 75Mhz FM, the others are supposed to work together.

You will need to use matching crystals, I've never been able to mix crystals between manufacturers. There's enough tolerance between them they they won't work unless its a set, tx and rx crystals. Shouldn't matter whose, but they have to be same manufacturer, tx and rx.
