I think I understand what you are asking and will answer accordingly.

I would set your Throttle EPA to 80% first. Then I would remove the horn on your throttle servo and with the car/radio turned on hold the throttle on your radio all the way down.
Reattach your horn so that your carb is fully open while the throttle is still held.
Then when you let off the throttle your carb should close, and when you hit the throttle again you will have 80% travel and a fully open carb.
Hope that helps.

It shouldn't be necessary to remove the servo horn. First, set the subtrim to 0. Check your throttle linkage to be sure it's at neutral, no drag brake, carb closed. Next, turn the EPA down to 80% and then pull the trigger to full throttle. You should be close enough that it will only need a few clicks of EPA up or down to get full throttle without straining the servo.

all right mr neu racer ,i wasent confident on your theory but gave it a try what happens is when the servo returns to neutral the brakes are strongly on and the servos whinning cause its forced so far over in max brake territory ,tried it again with epa on 5o then 30 same deal ,so no luck ,

and mr jonny socko,,all my subtrims were on 0 ,my throttle is a neutral .no drag barke ,,i turn my epa to 80% and pull throttle full forward and nearly rip the carby off ,its pulling way to far forward ,reduce to about 80% of Carb open and my epa is at ZERO wtf,,

i am suprized because my 3pk used to be about 50/60 epa at full throttle before on other cars ,,? ,,,i have even done the throttle adjuster ,which resets your neutral ,full throttle and brake positions ,o

oh well any body else got similar problem or ideas ?

you can change from 50/50 to 70/30, maybe that model setting is 70/30

you can turn thr throttle side epa all the way down to 1percent then work your way up

I'm going to guess that maybe a shorter servo arm would work better?

what hes saying is to do what he explained AND THEN adjust your sub trims so nothing is whining.

When you pulled up your ADJUST menu what did it show for the throttle channel? If it's off either way by more than 15-20% you probably need a new throttle pot for the trigger. The shorter servo horn someone else suggested might work but even the longest ones will still allow enough adjustment without having to turn the EPA down to 0.
