Default Question about crystals!

Hell everyone,
I hasve the Associated xp2 radio, the 27mhz one, i know GO 2.4GHZ, not in the buget right now, so i need more crystals for this, can i run other brands then the associated ones? or will onyl associated ones work? thanks

Not sure, borrow a set and try it......Futaba should work though I think they make the radios for AE..but crystals from futaba would probly be more $ than from AE.

There are some tolerance differences with crystals and these vary with manufacturer. As long as you use a set from one manufacturer (both tx and rx crystals) they should work.

I've tried mixing crystals - diff brand tx and rx crystals and that doesn't work.
