Default Spektrum Pro Module System Binding Issue

I just got my Spektrum Pro Surface module system for my KO PROPO EX-1UR. I'm familiar with spektrum systems, so I had no problem binding with my first receiver.

Then, I got another receiver to put in my mini e-revo. I did just as I had with the first one. Hold down bind button on the receiver, and power on the esc. When the green light flashes, release the bind button. Then, with the transmitter off, press the bind button on the module, and power on the radio. When the light begins to flash, release it. Everything is fine up until this point, after I turn on the transmitter, and both lights are flashing for a couple seconds, the light on the receiver stops flashing, and the one on the module stops blinking and goes solid. I can't do anything. Nothing responds.

Any help would be appreciated.
