Default lrp x12 timingn help!

I run lrp x12 motors in my offroad stuff and have always left my timing as the motor come in the box. my questions are:

increased vs decreased timing
a. rpm
b. torque
c. motor temp.

any and all help would be appriciated

i remember asking this question back during the indoor offroad season and one of the people working said, with offroad you need alot of speed, torque, and rpm. with my orion motor i used timing for onroad but never tried in the offroad. i bet it will help because it did for me. just read the manual and figure out which direction to go with the timing and only go a little bit at a time because it can harm your motor if adjusted too far at once. you will get a higher motor temperature.
