with the high voltages of the batteries that are coming out, is it still safe not to use any CAPS for the ZERO and other versions of keyence's speedo?

I use no caps on all my Rapida Pro's with no problems at all. I run stock and 19 turn.

tnx, for the reply and congrats on your win. Now if I can only get some $$ for the BMI chassis i'll be OK.

Adrian M,

Need to send my speedo for repair.

I believe so, I run my RPro in 540 too and it doesn't come close to warm. What are your settings?

If you know how to program the speedo, try these settings:

MAIN:
nutr- 4p
d_po- 10p
b_po- 10p
nubr- 0p
f_br- OFF
EnSA- 100p

FRQ:
d_Fr- 2.0
b_Fr- 5.0
nbFr- you don't need this so it really doesn't matter especially for 540 Silver can

Sounds like the ESC is shagged. Blown LEDs, getting hot under no load = not something programming it will fix.
