O.K. guys I was just told that there are two versions of the eXtraight and one of them is 4 cell compatable! I hope so. I have one on the way, I will let you know when I have it.

I just confiremd with Keyence that there is no 4-Cell version of the ExStraight. This is right from our Keyence sales rep in Japan.

I will have to put it in my MF-2 then.

OK, I have a Keyence Zero Extreme, and in mod 12th scale I get to about the 4 min mark and everything starts shutting down. Any suggestions?

AdrianM (and anyone else who cares to comment)-
I'm running the Rapida Pro in a 12th scale and using the 12th profile that comes in back of the set-up guide. Has anyone played with different #'s and found something? I want to reduce the 'drag/braking effect' to roll more through the corners. Is it better to do this with forward throttle on the radio? I'm running Br00d Monster Stock w/767's and purple springs, IB3800's, 96t spur/ 33t pinion on a Med size, tight infield, high grip indoor asphalt track...

you should have all setting for brake to zero and run the trim on the throttle up. I like it to actually roll a little. stock motors have enough drag in them that you do not need to speedo to add any more. also purple spring are a little stiff on 1/12

I think you got my question backwards. I'm not trying to add drag, I want to program the speedo to REDUCE it. But I am going to introduce a bit of forward throttle like you said to see if that helps. The purple springs actually work on this motor but I'll experiment a bit more to see what the optimum combo is.
Thanks for the help :)

I am just about to buy a Rapida Pro and wanted to see one mounted up first. preferably in a touring car (a JRXS if possible:D ).

Does anyone have any concerns or issues with this esc? I have only heard good things about it. Just wanted to make sure before I buy.

How "smooth" is the Rapida Pro compared to other esc's (eg. VFS-1 pro comp, GTX, Q2 and GM)?

And finally, is the mod touring profile on the back of the instruction manual a "good" point to start? and what would be the first things to change to suit track and environmenatl conditions?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's like butta smooth..Been running Keyence for three years now and will never run anything else.

Here you go, it's not a jrxs but...

you might want to open the vent holes and allow that motor to breathe alittle if it's running hot on you.

the first thing that I'd adjust would be the drive fre or the min drive. It all depends on the track layout and track conditions.
