Whenever I changed the settings, I always save it on another profile in the "program save" menu either on S.P 1 up to S.P 4. According to the manual on page 25.....Program save (only for Zero V Ext)...
When in save display mode, PRESS the left AND right together. LED(7) starts blinking. After that, set the number of the program you wish to save by using either the left or right button. Then press the left AND right buttons together for 4 seconds. When the program loading is complete. "END" will be displayed.....Your DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Racing

The settings (whatever one you may be trying to set) do go up or down when you push or pull the trigger BUT when you return the trigger to the neutral position the setting goes to 0?

The speedo is set to the transmitter incorrectly. The speedo thinks neutral is full brake... thus when you complete a setting and return the trigger to neutral it undoes whatever you just did.

Re-set the speedo to the transmitter.

Post FINALLY...

After playing around with the THROTTLE EXP on my 3PK and setting the throttle & brake to +100, only then was I able to set-up my radio to the speedo. I saved my profile but wanted to see if it really saved my values so I loaded up a default profile and then re-loaded my saved profile. It worked but there's still a problem, the speedo doesn't register any value WHEN I BREAK, but it does when I'm on the throttle. What gives ... -JB

Jaybee sounds like you've undone your brake setting.

Set all exp's to zero, then reset to transmitter. It really just sounds like it isn't set correctly. It is possible that your transmitter has a setting that is causeing the problem. Might be worth trying to set it to a new model memory on your transmitter.

Post Man, this thread isn't...

as popular as it use to be.
However, I did try the zero exp's thing and no, it did not work. But what I did do is reset the model I was using, reset my exp's to 100% and then I HAD AN EPIPHANY- my ATL (adjustable throttle limiter) was always set to zero . This feature adjusts the amount of movement available to the braking side only of the trigger DUH! I've been scratching my head over a month on this. Stupid me. Now I've fallen back in love with my Keyence and livin' in 3PK-speedo bliss.
Thanks guys for all the help ... now I couldn't find my manual but after you set nutr, drHP, brHP and it returns to SET MODE, do you push the center button or the L/R arrows @ the same time to set the frequency settings? I can't remember how I did it, but my settings are there . -JB
