I dont want to run my LRP Q2 anymore. I also want to get the KO Propo servos too. But i can wait on that, but i really want to get a KO ESC.

Jon

Decision on LRP.. I totally agreed!

VSF is a very advance Esc, in fact, adjustment range is much more variable/flexible than the V0 Xtreme or Rapida Pro. If you concern about sizes (available space on your car), VSF-1 is the one to go... it is micro in size. Keyence is small.. compared to 90s ESCs.. YES.. but no were near micro.

Last but not least to consider about keyence.. its performance and what it does to your motor will make your life easier:D and that`s the most important point, at least, to me:D

Forgot to say that you do need xtra device to do more fexible setting with VFS

If you are running the KO or Novak diode you need to run the EnSa lower than 100%

Were can i get a zero v extreme instruction??

MattW 09-24-2004 11:06 AM

nnick, in the UK for mod 12 turn racing, we don't tend to change much. We alter the neutral width to either 1 or 2. Most of the guys leave everything else the same, but personally i also up the drive frequency, sometimes as high as 5KHz. This just helps the 12 turn motors, as other wise with the gearing that we usually pull, they are really smoked by the end of the run:(

Not sure about ENSA value with the diode, as we usually run without

I'll use the esc without diode after all! I almost fried another esc after diode failure!! :flaming: (second in one week! :flaming: )

Here is link for manuals

i tried using a rx pack on my keyence rapida pro but i didnt have any throttle. is it impossible to run using a rx pack?

nnick 09-26-2004 11:52 AM

What about caps?

Does the esc come with one?
Should I install one? (I own GM's caps, will it be ok to fit them?)

Striker, i haven't used one personally, but i know someone who has run 4 cell with reciever pack with a zero extreme. You will need to remove the red wire from the reciever plug of the speedo, and then switch both the pack and speedo.

Not sure about caps, don't think you need them but i have never tried one personally, although i have run one with every other speedo. Assuming you are refering to "Power" caps!
