Default what's the fastest servo's out?

so far i have seen an airtronics servo speed @ 6.0 volts @ 0.06 secs @ 60 degrees with 125 inch torque.

by far the fastest i have seen so far is there any faster with or without this amount of torque available? or is a speed of 0.06 secs @ 6.0 volts as fast as they get?

JR 9100 HVS servo is just as fast with more torque, and you don't need to use a regulator:

Torque: 230 oz/in (2S Li-Po)
Speed: .06 sec/60° (2S Li-Po)

i had the airtronics servo that put down a .06sec time ON PAPER, my jr z9000s servo is a lil slower on paper but will definitly turn the car through a chichane faster

i had issues with the airtronics servo when i used it with a spektrum micro reciever on a super fast mod touring car with foam tires on carpet, it would glitch out when i made multiple tight turns one after another, maybe it is too power hungry? flushed that turd fast anyways
if you are set on buying the airtronics branded sevo id suggest to go with the rockcrusher as it doesnt have any issues as far as i can see

KO makes servos that dont put good numbers down on paper but seem to be faster in the car, i can only assume that they test under load? as a bonus they can be programmed every which way, a couple more bucks but you get what you pay for

im happy with a jr590m in most of my cars, im sure the top 5% of drivers need a faster servo but i just want something reliable and cheap, by the time my eyes send the signal to my steering hand via my brain the speed of the servo is irrelevant, some cars im actually more consistent in cornering with the 590 than the 9000 because its a lil slower and smoother

I got very close to ordering some of the HVS servos on my last order.

I have had an Airtronics 257 for YEARS and I will have to agree, in some cars they are slower than in others, and they seem slower than others rated at .09 and such. I have had this one for so long mainly bc it's not all MG it has 1 plastic gears so it will usualy fail before the motor burns up. Although I have been pleased with the futaba and jr servos. I love servos as fast as I can get them, nothing like split secon responce. Especially in a very quick situation, although some people can not handle the speeds and are actually faster and more consistant with a slower servo.

Its not the cars, is the radio system. The same servo will act different with a different radio system. My servos with my 4PK are IMO are faster than with the stock Traxxas radio.
