Default AMP Settings o Hyperion.....HELP!!!

I have a brand new NiMh I'm trying to charge @ 4.o amps. The 1st one charged successfully at that amperage, however the 2nd one is not charging at more than .10 AMPS. Any suggestions???

What's the capacity on the batteries you're trying to charge? Try charging it at a lower setting like 2A and see what happens.

That sounds like charger is doing a trickle charge which follows at the end of a charge (if its setup). Is this batt already charged by some chance?

I'd see if it will run your rc - try it and it it runs, it was charged, if it doesn't have enough amps when loaded, then I would be suspicious batt has a bad cell(s).

You never know about batts - they don't put manufacture date on them so they may not be the same "freshness".

Most high end charger will act funny if the settings are incorrect or the battery is junk. They dont act screwy for no reason. Everytime my charger didnt do what I told it, it was because the nimh's had bad cells. Cafefull inspect the battery for a bad solder or something. Just another reason to go lipo.
