The manual which was included with the transmitter is for the FM one and does not describe how to bind Tx and RX.

Did you buy the Helios with the KO 2.4ss module and receiver?, or do you have spektrum module? The Helios w/KO 2.4SS should of came with a separate 4 page instruction booklet for the 2.4SS with information on binding and failsafe. Let me know what module you have, if you have the KO module and no instructions, I'll let you know how you set the failsafe and bind.
