just recently my tekin speed controller on and off switch stop working
and i replaced it and it didn't work i when i put the positive wire of the switch to the positive side of the battery it turned on. now i am wondering if it is safe to do that?

Some of Mamba controllers have this prob as well and many just solder the wires together and eliminate the switch altogether. Plugging the batt in turns it on and unplugging batt turns it off. Takes a little getting used to but it works.
I see no prob with connecting the wires to bypass the switch.
