These servos are made by Savox.

would the low profile servos work on a short course truck? I tried putting an Airtronics in and failed because of depth

Does anybody know what the warranty is on the Orion servos?

Horizion Hobby product support is the new North America distributor for Orion since Nov. 2009.

I purchased an orion servo 4 months ago new from Stormer Hobby that needs service, Horizon customer service (the new Team Orion USA) told me the warranty covers against defects ONLY at time of purchase. And they don't service/repair the Orion servos. WTF!!

No warranty,no service or replacement on Orion servos???

Help please.

I can only speak for Savöx who are the manufacturer of Orions servos.
So far no problems at all. Fast, strong and precise - what more can you expect?
But I have to admit, until now, I've been using them for only three races and some training sessions since I put them in my RC8B.

I've been running a 1409 for steering in my 8ight buggy for almost three years. Not one issue, best servo I've had since a Hitec 5955TG.

That sucks, did you have a crash before this happened, maybe the teeth didn't break off completely on impact. I would suspect you had a defective gear as your servo saver should break before a titanium gear I wouldn't close the book on Savox, they are very good servos, you might have just got a lemon.

Got to love the re-branding in this hobby. For the same servo you pay about $0 for a Savox sticker, $20 for a Spektrum sticker and $35 for a Team Orion sticker.

I love my Savox servo's although I opted for the Spektrum sticker version

1205 high voltage specs looks good for off road buggy throttle, anyone using these or the 1609?
