Check out the new Orion servos. Dont they look rather similar to the chinese knockoffs that have been out for a long time?
Heres a link to the original: http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7563 |
Yeah they do, but it says Orion on it so it has got to be the Bomb!:D
|
Ya, when you get one, peel off the orion label on put it on an airtronics servo and everyone will be impress on how well the orion servo works.
|
Im just gonna get one of those sweet knockoffs
|
Its not a knok off it is just a relabel.....meaning that they do not make their own servos they get them from another company just happened to be the same as another......like nosram and lrp, hobbywing and yeah racing, harris rc and yeah racing and so on.....
|
KO is making the speed controls for them i think so i would not be surprised if these were KO as well.

Hi guys!
I see that the last post was more than a year ago. Has anyone tried the servos since then? Please share your comments and reviews after you have used them. It would benefit me greatly as I am interested in trying them out too. Their specs look great on paper. Cheers! Dan |
The servos work great. I am enjoying my low-profile Orion Servo. It has good torque and it's as fast as you will ever need.

I plan to run the VDS-1409 on a 1/8th scale buggy. I heard some guys mention that it dosent have good seals and muck get in. please advise if you have had any problems with them in this respect. Appreciate any comments! Cheers guys! :) |
Hi,
I am using the VDS-1009 which I would say is for onroad. I can't really assist you much in regard to offroad. |

My Orion servo actually has a Futaba spline, though I am not sure whether or not Futaba is manufacturing these servos.
